LA HOGUERA — Desire in Ruins
Love is rarely calm.
Sometimes it burns everything around it.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
“La Hoguera” is a theatrical exploration of obsession, desire, and the desperate search for connection.
Through a chaotic and emotionally charged narrative, the story follows three sisters and their family as they navigate distorted ideas of intimacy, affection, and longing — exposing the fragile line between love and emotional dependence.
Blending dark humor, hysteria, tension, and vulnerability, the project confronts the audience with uncomfortable questions about human desire and the need to be seen, wanted, and loved.
The visual documentation embraces this instability — capturing exaggerated gestures, emotional fractures, and moments where intimacy becomes confrontation.
This is not a story about romance.
It is a story about what people become while searching for it.
