GEOGRAFÍA DEL SILENCIO
PROJECT OVERVIEW
“Geografía del Silencio” is an ongoing photographic series exploring distance, stillness, and the emotional weight carried by places.
Built through fragments collected across different cities, coastlines, roads, and structures, the project focuses on the quiet tension between movement and isolation — the feeling of existing temporarily inside spaces that continue long after we leave them.
Rather than documenting locations as destinations, the series observes them as emotional landscapes.
Bridges become symbols of transition.
Harbors feel suspended in time.
Empty horizons, passing ships, and distant architecture transform into reflections of solitude, memory, and impermanence.
Shot entirely in black and white, the work strips color away to emphasize atmosphere, scale, geometry, and silence.
This is not travel photography.
It is the study of what remains when noise disappears.

Some places do not speak loudly.
They stay with you because of their silence.
